Gas Furnaces
Furnace efficiency is measured by the annual fuel utilization efficiency (AFUE). Two classes of gas furnaces are available: power combustion furnaces at 80-82% AFUE and condensing furnaces, which meet the Energy Star® standard of at least 90% efficiency. Both far exceed the performance of older pilot-light furnaces that usually have an AFUE under sixty percent.

Air Conditioners
