Trouble Shooting

If you are dissatisfied with the heating or cooling of your system, there are a few things you may wish to check. Never attempt repairs on your own. If unable to identify and correct the problem with a simple adjustment, call ATEL Air at 613-535-2720 and explain the problem. A uniformed ATEL Air technician will be glad to assist you any time of day.

• Check breakers or fuses. If the unit repeatedly trips a breaker or blows a fuse, call ATEL Air at 613-535-2720 without delay. A uniformed ATEL Air technician will be glad to assist you any time of day.
• Make sure outdoor electrical disconnect is on.
• Check thermostat setting. Make sure it is in the correct mode. Never set air conditioning lower than 21ºC.
• Check outdoor unit. It should be level and free of debris such as leaves or grass.
• Check filters for blockages.
• Make sure unit access panels are in place.
